If noise continues-keep a log of the days and times that you are being disturbed and contacting the local council environmental health department can also help.
Living in a leasehold property there will be certain terms of the lease which will help protect you from noise nuisance such as
-No noise after 11pm or before 7am
Any one breaking the terms of their lease could be at risk of losing their home

It is that time of year again when we put the wheels in motion for the 2015 Service Charge Budgets. Our Property Managers are busy bees identifying items on site that will need attention over the next 12-18 months as well as getting in the final quotes, ready for our Budget Meetings.
As of 1st January 2013 homeowners will be advised by any gas engineer that their gas boiler flue system is “at risk”, if a Gas Safe registered engineer is unable to inspect the flues especially if they are concealed and there isn’t an inspection hatch.
The reason behind this is to raise awareness of the potential dangers from certain types of flues and the risk of exposure to carbon monoxide (CO).
Being social can be fun especially when family and friends visit; however your ‘fun’ can be a nightmare to others regardless where you live.
A great way around this is to talk to your neighbors especially if you live in an apartment and just let them know that you are having a few friends round and may cause some noise; it’s an ideal way to get to know your neighbors as well.

Right to First Refusal is where qualifying tenants have the right to first refusal to buy their freehold from their landlord where the landlord has expressed an intention to dispose of their interest in the building.
What it means for you?
By law, if you are a qualifying tenant, your landlord must serve a formal notice giving you the option to buy before another buyer is found. They are also required to give you a reasonable timeframe to consider the option.
